52-year-old female underwent surgery in February 1999 for a retroperitoneal well-differentiated liposarcoma (WDLPS) with positive surgical margins. In 2004, first relapse of the disease in the abdominal cavity was detected, and surgery followed by radiotherapy was performed. While surgical resection is standard treatment for localized STS, radiotherapy (RT) offers a treatment option with low level of evidence and with considerable toxicity (enteritis) in the adjuvant setting.
